The Student Council Election for the academic year 2026 - 2027 was conducted successfully at St. Francis Sales PU College June 27, 2026 with the objective of promoting democratic values, leadership, responsibility, and student participation.

The election process began with the nomination of candidates, followed by scrutiny of nominations and campaigning. Students were encouraged to campaign ethically and present their vision to their peers. Voting was conducted in an orderly and transparent manner, ensuring that every eligible student had the opportunity to cast their vote. 1470 students cast their rightful votes.

. The Student Council Election for the academic year 2026 -2027 witnessed enthusiastic participation from the student community, with over 350 students contesting the elections. Following the voting process, 120 students were elected as Class, Sports and Cultural Representatives from various I and II PU classes.

These elected representatives then participated in the selection of the Student Council Cabinet. From among the 120 Class Representatives, six students were elected to serve as the Student Council Cabinet, holding the positions of Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Cultural Secretary, Joint Cultural Secretary, Sports Secretary, and Joint Sports Secretary.

The election was conducted under the guidance of the Principal and the Election Committee along with the co-operation of Coordinators, faculty members and staff. The entire process was completed peacefully and reflected the students’ enthusiasm and commitment to responsible leadership.

The elected representatives are expected to work collaboratively with the management and faculty to organize student activities and uphold the values of the institution throughout the academic year.
